Heavenly Father,

We begin this month with our National Day of Prayer. May our elected be enlightened by You. Please support those affected by war. We ask for the end to abortion and Your knowledge for those working to eradicate disease. As we remember St. Joseph the Worker, may we be diligent in our toils. We honor the Blessed Virgin Mary as we recall her appearance at Fatima and her visit to St. Elizabeth the mother of St. John the Baptist. On Mother’s Day and every day we implore Your Blessings on all mothers and recognize the love they give to all of us. We implore Your safety on behalf if those serving the United States as we remember them on Armed Forces Day. Please welcome into Your kingdom those who died for our freedom as we honor them on Memorial Day. We acknowledge the Ascension of the Lord and your plan to send forth the Holy Spirit upon us to evangelize as did the Apostles Sts. Philip, James and Matthias. We fervently pray for vocations to the priesthood and religious life. We seek your counsel and wisdom for the College of Cardinals as they gather to discern a new Pope. In Jesus’ name we ask these

Amen
