Heavenly Father,

Increase our prayerful devotion to You beginning this month with the National Day of Prayer. Let us remember our Mexican neighbors as they celebrate Cinco de Mayo. After the Ascension of the Lord You sent the Paraclete at Pentecost to guide us in our spiritual lives reminding us of the love and interaction between Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the Most Holy Trinity. May Your Blessings settle upon all our Mothers, living or passed. We ask Your protection for members of the military this Armed Forces Day. May You bring to Yourself those whom we remember and thank on Memorial Day who gave the ultimate sacrifice. We pray for an end to abortion and those affected by wars. We pray for all this as we recall the visitation of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church through Your Son, Jesus

Amen.
