Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)
The Rite of Christian Initiation is a process of welcoming new members into the Roman Catholic Church. Possible candidates for this process are:
• Unbaptized who wish to learn more about the Catholic faith with the possibility of becoming Catholic
• Baptized adults or children from other religions who would like to learn more about and possibly join the Catholic Church
• Baptized Catholics who would like to renew their understanding of the Catholic faith and prepare for First Eucharist, Confirmation and First Reconciliation
Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) – adapted for children
The Rite of Christian Initiation Adapted for Children is available for those ages seven or above who have not been catechized and who may or may not have been baptized.
